    VENEER

    Veneer material

Veneer consists of a decor layer, available in different colours and wood imitations. By means of a roller, the wood imitation is pressed into an MDF sheet, so that it creates a beautiful 3D effect. In addition, the MDF offers an extremely solid surface. Finally, the decor layer is finished off with a thin layer of synthetic resin, which provides excellent protection against damage, for example. In addition, the layer of resin keeps the decor layer very colour fast.

    Positive properties:

    - Excellent value for money
    - Easy to clean
    - Hardly distinguishable from real wood

    Maintenance:

    - Wipe with a damp cloth

    Do's and don'ts:

    - Avoid sharp objects

    ACACIA WOOD

    Acacia wood

Acacia is solid wood from eco-friendly plantations. Acacia can be recognized by its fine grain, flame-drawing and changing shades of color. It is carefully selected wood that is dried for several months in drying rooms, so that (shrinking) cracks are kept to a minimum. After a product has been manufactured from several pieces of wood, it is varnished in order to emphasize and maintain its natural colour. The water-based lacquer protects the furniture from external influences. This environmentally friendly lacquer, for example, strongly slows down the UV radiation.

    Positive properties:

    - Natural product made from certified wood
    - Due to the long drying time, shrinkage cracks are kept to a minimum

    Maintenance:

    - In daily use, wipe with a damp cloth with warm water
    - Treat once every six months with a furniture oil

    Do's and don'ts:

    - Avoid hot objects such as pans and cups, always use coasters.

    TEAKWOOD

    Teakwood

Teakwood is a type of wood from the teak tree with an above-average amount of oil, lime and resin. This means that teak is naturally slightly water-repellent and that the wood does not dry out so quickly. Teak is therefore also very suitable for outdoor use. Teak has a warm brown colour that eventually turns grey. However, our teak furniture has a clear, brown or grey lacquer finish, which gives it a different colour. The small strips of wood are glued to waterproof plywood. This has a great advantage that the wood can no longer work (move in shape).

    Positive properties:

    - Good quality
    - Durable wood species
    - Easy to maintain
    Maintenance:

    - Wipe with a damp cloth
    Do's and don'ts

    - Avoid hot objects such as pans and cups, always use coasters
    - Ensure that dirt is removed immediately to prevent it from retracting

    POLYPROPYLENE

    Polypropyleen

Polypropylene (or PP) is an elastic wear-resistant plastic with a high impact resistance and a wide temperature range. This means that PP has many good properties. For example, PP is resistant to bacterial growth, is colour- and tear-resistant and very easy to maintain. After heating, PP can take on any shape. The shell of the chair is therefore poured into an attractive die-cut during heating, so that the shell is always dimensionally stable.

    Positive properties:

    - Colour fast and tear-resistant
    - Resistant to bacterial growth
    - Easy to clean
    Maintenance:

    - Wipe with a damp cloth
    Do's and don'ts:

    - Avoid sharp objects and excessive sunlight

    POLYURETHANE

    Polyurethane

Polyurethane (PU) is a particularly beautiful and affordable alternative to leather. PU is sturdy and pleats nicely, making it an ideal material for furniture. These properties of PU also make it an excellent choice for the clothing industry, where many skirts, dresses, jackets and trousers are made of PU today.

Our chairs are equipped with 1.2 millimetres of PU, which is normally around 0.8 millimetres. This ensures that our PU fabric is very strong in quality. The PU has a two-colour print with the leather structure pressed in, giving it a natural hue. This can be seen in our chairs made of Buffelo, wax PU and washed PU. With the wax PU, the upholstery has been sanded again, giving it an even more uneven appearance. In the case of washed PU, the material has been sanded in various places, which shows a unique and subtle colour change. For extra protection, the PU is then varnished.

    Positive properties:

    - Excellent value for money
    - Easy to use
    Maintenance:

    - Wipe with a damp cloth and neutral detergent if necessary
    Do's and don'ts:

    - Avoid sharp objects and excessive sunlight

    GOAT LEATHER

    Goat leather material

Goat leather is strong, pliable and durable. The leather has a matt sheen and will look better and better over time. These properties make it suitable for the production of furniture, but also for clothing and shoes.

    Positive properties:

    - A natural product that feels cool in the summer and comfortable in the winter
    - Breathable and lightweight
    Maintenance:

    - Wipe off with a damp cloth
    - Treat once every six months with a leather care product to prevent dehydration
    Do's and don'ts:

    - Avoid sharp objects and excessive sunlight

    JEANS FABRIC

    Jeans material

Jeans, also called denim, are mainly used for jeans. Denim is a robust cotton fabric that is woven into a fixed diagonal structure. This makes the fabric durable, strong and comfortable. While it is often normal for jeans to have certain areas of wear and tear, this is not desirable in the furniture industry. Our jeans chairs are therefore made of 70% polyester and 30% cotton. The polyester makes the friendly cotton fabric much stronger.

    Positive properties:

    - Good wear resistance
    - Feels soft and comfortable
    Maintenance:

    - Use a textile protector for extra protection
    Do's and don'ts:

    - Avoid excessive sunlight

    ROBUST HARDWOOD

    Robust Hardwood

Robust hardwood consists of 'old' scrap wood. Wood from, for example, railway sleepers, old trains or church floors. The fact that the wood has been around for decades shows that the material is not only extremely strong, but also has a beautiful past. Robust hardwood has a coarse and natural appearance.

    Positive properties:

    - Unique copy
    - Tough/natural appearance
    Maintenance:

    - Wipe with a damp cloth
    - Vacuuming between the seams
    Do's and don'ts:

    - Due to the coarse wood, it cannot be excluded that the tables are completely shatterproof

    MANGO WOOD

    Mango wood

Mango tree wood is used when the old trees no longer bear fruit. This makes mango wood durable. Mango wood is light to dark golden brown, with yellow and green spots. The yellow and green spots are masked by colouring them in, which gives it a uniform effect. By further staining the wood, the mango wood gets a certain colour. Finally, the mango wood is varnished to provide protection against dirt and moisture.

    Positive properties:

    - Durable wood species
    - Contemporary character
    Maintenance:

    - Wipe off with a damp cloth
    Do's and don'ts:

    - Avoid hot objects such as pans and cups, always use coasters
    - Avoid sharp objects

    RECYCLED WOOD

    Recycled wood

Recycled wood, as the name suggests, consists of various recycled wood species. Each table has its own characteristics. The robust top has natural unevenness and different colour shades, so that each table is unique in its kind.

    Positive properties:

    - Each article is unique in its kind
    Maintenance:

    - Wipe with a damp cloth

    MUCA LEATHER

    Muca Leather

Muca leather is the remainder of what remains when cutting hides, making it environmentally friendly material. The remnants are eventually crushed and glued together using PU. Finally, a PU layer is applied on top, so that it provides protection against dirt. Muca leather is made of a generous thickness, making it strong and supple to the touch. In addition, the two-colour print gives the material a natural matt colour shading. Muca leather is also already sold under the name Micro Leather or Ecoleder.

Polyester is a versatile synthetic fibre that is widely used in the furniture industry. The fabric is smooth, durable and light. As the material retains its shape, polyester does not crease, or hardly wrinkles.

    Positive properties:

    - Smooth and durable
    - Does not crease or barely crease
    Maintenance:

    - Use a textile protector for extra protection
    Do's and don'ts:

    STAINLESS STEEL

    Stainless steel

RVS stands for stainless steel. It consists of iron, carbon and nickel with the property that the steel no longer oxidizes. We offer two types of stainless steel, namely brushed stainless steel and black brushed stainless steel. Stainless steel is very maintenance free and should only be cleaned from the point of view of hygiene or appearance.

    Positive properties:

    - Very maintenance free
    - Easy to clean
    Maintenance:

    - Wipe off with a damp cloth

    POWDER COATED STEEL

    Powder coated steel

Powder coating is an electrostatic process in which the steel is sprayed with a certain colour of powder paint. The steel then ends up in an oven where it dries and cures to an extremely strong paint layer. An uneven base is first powder coated and then repainted using a brush or sponge. Finally, this layer is neatly finished with a layer of lacquer. In this way, the undercarriage gets a different 'sanded' look.

    Positive properties:

    - By electrostatic spraying of paint, a very strong paint layer is created
    - Long service life
    - Easy to clean
    Maintenance:

    - Wipe with a damp cloth
